Are you headed to the RSA Conference in San Francisco? I'm excited to be attending for the first time in quite a few years. It’s the first time many of us — attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff alike — are participating in a large-scale conference in person in two years. We’re hoping to make it fun and engaging for everyone we see at the conference. To do that, we have some plans...
RSA Speaking Session
There’s nothing better than sharing true stories of your experience in the field. To that end, Ofer Maor, co-founder and CTO here at Mitiga, will be presenting "It's Getting Real and Hitting the Fan! Real World Cloud Attacks" on Thursday, June 9 from 9:40–10:30 a.m. PT. Drawing from our experience in responding to incidents in the cloud, Ofer has an entertaining and informative session. Hope you can join him!
Coffee Time & Happy Hour
We all know that RSA is hectic, and we want you to start the day right, so please visit us in Moscone North in booth #4208 to grab your invitation to join us from 8-10 a.m. for a great cup of coffee every morning before you head into the event. And... after a long day, the invitation is also good for drinks with the Mitiga team, customers, and friends from 4-6 p.m. Some time to chill before you head out to the evening festivities 😊.
Retro Lego Set
When we picked this giveaway, we thought it looked like a lot of fun... and it turns out, so did our kids. Everyone who came into my home office asked if they could put it together and whether it worked (as in, could you play Nintendo games on it? I said that it worked very well as a Lego set but couldn’t speak to any other capabilities). I *bet* someone who takes one of these sets home will have an old Nintendo System™ and find some amazing ways to play with them together.
We’ll also be printing custom mugs in the booth on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. These mugs have the Mitiga logo on it and a caricature of you — as a Simpsons character! We’ll take a photo and print you a mug. It’s a fun thing to bring home from RSAC this year, and it’s truly unique to you. What would you look like with a blue beehive?
Proactive, Continuous Breach Investigation
Although we’re really excited about having fun, meeting many friends and colleagues in person for the first time in years (or the first time ever), we’re also excited to talk about what Mitiga does. The past year showed another increase in cyberattacks, and they’re hitting hard. Adversaries are becoming more sophisticated, and there simply isn’t enough talent to fill all the open security and cloud positions. We need to change how we think about cyberattacks in the cloud and how we respond to them. Mitiga has an approach that focuses on increasing readiness before an attack takes place, ensuring that your team is as prepared as possible. We also proactively collect, structure, store, and analyze forensic data so that when a breach occurs, we’re ready to begin investigation immediately. We’d love to tell you more, show you a demo, and explain how we can offer zero-cost incident response for critical incidents to our subscribers, and we’re ready to do that in Moscone North booth #4208.
If you won’t make it to RSA this year, we are sorry to miss you! We hope to catch up at another upcoming cybersecurity event; we’ll be at CyberWeek in Israel June 27-30 and the FIRST Conference in Dublin June 26-July 1.
